Children's Program
Learning takes place in many different ways with each child and it should be always evolving and changing. We want the children to be excited about learning. We strive to develop a curriculum that develops when exploring what is socially relevant, intellectually engaging and personally meaningful to children. Two most important aspects are positive nurturing relationships and a warm comfortable environment.
Creative Play
By painting, cutting and pasting, playing with puzzles and games, the preschoolers not only explore their artistic creativity but also develop fine motor skills. At the writing centre they focus on beginning writing skills, letters and numbers.
Active Play
The riding toys, slide, blocks, home center, sand and water play are great fun and also enable preschoolers to develop gross motor skills, a sense of balance and perception and co-operation.
Circle Time
Through a variety of activities such as songs, finger plays, games, musical insturments, dancing to the music, preschoolers learn to carry a tune and enjoy their own sense of rhythm. They also learn simple concepts such as taking turns, following directions, and speaking to a group. Many relevant discussions are happening at this time.
Snack Time
A time for enjoying our delicious food and socializing with our friends. We are reminded to use our manners.
Quiet Time
Stories take place at this time. Here, preschoolers can express themselves verbally and formulate ideas. Some time is spent on the calendar, the name of the month, the day of the week, the number of the day and the weather outside today.
